Central Oregon Board of Realtors - Sharon Bracket, local board member, (541)475-6161. The board represents Realtors in Jefferson, Crook, Deschutes and Harney counties. The organization has a total of approximately 900 members, with 42 in Jefferson County. Central Oregon Board of Realtors is a trade association, affiliated wit the National Association of Realtors.
Crooked River Ranch Lions - John Day (541) 923-7206. The organization has approximately 20 members, and is looking for more to join. The group meets at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month at the Arroyo Restaurant & Lounge in CRR, and at 8 p.m. the fourth Monday of the month, also at the Arroyo. Annual fund-raising events hosted by the organization include; Monte Carlo, held on labor day; and the Spring Fling, held in May. The group also hosts the Buffalo Feed Fourth of July celebration. The fund raising events take place at the Arroyo, and include gambling with funny money. the proceeds go to various causes benefiting the residents of CRR. Annual dues are $45 per year.

Crooked River Ranch Senior Center - (541) 923-8724. The group meets at 1 p.m. till 3 p.m. on Tuesdays for arts and crafts; and starting at 10 a.m. on Thursdays are social gatherings, followed at 12 by potluck lunch. The events take place in the CRR Fire Hall, 7000 Shade Road. Members are over 50 years old. There are approximately 70 members.
Culver Community Improvement Group - (541) 546-8641. The group organizes the Great American Days celebration in Culver, which takes place the second weekend in July, and also participates with churches and other organizations in the Food Baskets project, which benefits needy people in the Culver area. The group sponsors many events, which benefit Food Basket, and other community projects.
Culver Garden Club - (541) 546-7121. The group meets at 1:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of the month at member's homes. The group promotes gardening interests in the Culver area.
Culver Grange - (541) 546-3823. The group meets at noon the first and third Tuesdays of the month at the Haystack Grange Hall.
Mud Springs Grange - (541) 475-2606. The group meets at 7:30 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at the Mud Springs Grange Hall. There are a little over 100 members. The grange represents the interests of farmers and their families. The grange helps good causes in the community, like 4-H.

Society for Creative Anachronism. The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) was founded in 1966 in Berkeley, Ca. by Science Fiction author Diana Paxton and Several of her friends. Over the intervening thirty some-odd years it has grown to almost 20,000 people all over the world, from all walks of life: Computer freaks, Law officers, Bikers, Collage Students, Lawyers, Doctors, Paramedics, Teachers, Farmers, Ski Instructors, and just about anyone else who wants to live the Great Dream of Chivalry and of Honor.
Warm Springs 4-H Search and Rescue Cadet Program - (541) 553-1855. The group meets at 6 p.m. on Mondays at the Warm Springs 4-H building, 1101 Wasco Street. The group is a community-service volunteer organization in the area of search and rescue. The organization teaches and challenges youth through the platform of search and rescue to enhance their citizenship as adults.
